Boy was I surprised when Rose was born. I was expecting spots, and got black. Not that I was disappointed at all. Rose is sweet as they come, and personality plus. She has a short, square body, wide chest, nice legs and a beautiful head. The white on the top of her nose has turned to a chocolate brown, a really unusual color. We've decided to hold on to Ebony Rose for awhile. Rowdy's foals were nice last year, and did well in the show ring. We plan on showing Rose this year.

This little girl is built like a tank, and she just keeps getting better. I probably should have held on to this one. She has the most gorgeous set of legs on her, has a great topline with a short back, and wide, wide, wide. Tallulah loves people. She is going to make a really nice donkey when she matures, and she has the personality to boot.

I just knew it was going to be a boy since Sydney had a girl last year. Boy was I happy to see this little girl! All 4 of her legs look like someone dipped her in paint up to her knees and hocks.

Congratulations to Laura Butler. I hadn't decided to sell April until Laura expressed interest in her. I couldn't have asked for a better home. I wish them many happy years together.
